We’re going to take a quick break from the Dark Legacy Series posts about the upcoming book and delve into the actual chapters of the next installment. The brimstones are calling for no mercy, just blood, and we’ve got to feed them.
We’re still a little bit away from the next release or it going to the editor, but I like to give readers teases of the next book. It’s been years since The Jackal of Shades, and this next one is shaping up to be the longest published book of the series. That said, if you haven’t read through Vol. III, you’re going to be hit with spoilers right out of the gate. This is your only warning.
One thing I’d like to point out is the time difference. In volumes I & II, they were fairly close to back to back, maybe a week or two break in between for certain events to happen off screen. Then, between II & III, there was a three year gap. However, from III onward, every book is back to back, or in the case of Vol. V, it happens during the events of IV.
