Last Ko-don post was about the government side of space exploration. Now, we’re shifting attention to the military arm, where we get our story main from. More than that, how big is the space fleet, what kind of ships, and how many people are aboard? We’ll cover that and more. The brimstones are calling for no mercy, just blood, and we’ve got to feed them.

The military is the machinery that keeps things going. They’re the first, last, and only line of defense. Their view is forward-facing, imagining threats and preparing for them—even if they never run across them, or if they come from within. While the political side of the equation gives people a sense of life, it’s the military that ensures it.

In times past, humans have had their problems with detractors and fanatics, and they even had people commandeer vessels, risking many lives in the process. So, the military has an answer to those problems: it’s swift, brutal, and 100% lethal. They won’t risk the integrity of the ships or their space station for anyone or anything. Sometimes sacrifices must be made, and in the end, they’ll get their target, either by spacing them out the airlock or destroying one ship to save the rest.

The military has one goal: ensure the system survives, even at the cost of life. Let’s take a closer look…
