So, here we are.
I’ve started this Substack to give readers a direct line to what I’m building—book by book, page by page, in a universe where war is religion, trauma is legacy, and survival’s never clean.
This is Outpost Dire. If you’re into morally complex sci-fi and dark fantasy with high emotional fidelity, sharp edges, and no hand-holding … you’re in the right place. I’ve released eight works so far—more are on the way.

What This Isn’t:
This won’t be a dumping ground of old blog posts or a weekly pat on the back. I’m not here to spam you. If I send something, it’ll be because it matters—to me, and hopefully to you.
I write across multiple connected series—Dark Legacy, Warmaster, Maro Prakk, and a few odds and ends—each one brutal, ambitious, and emotionally wired. I’ll cross between them from time to time, especially when the lore overlaps.
If You’re New:
Check out the posts, take a quick dive in, and see where my series are. If you’re uncertain about where to start, you can start anywhere, but I recommend either a Maro Prakk ebook, or the Dark Portal. This will give you an idea of my writing style, and the stories I like to tell.
The Worlds I Write:
I write across a connected universe where magic, science, trauma, and legacy all bleed together. Each series stands on its own, but they thread through a deeper system—one that questions power, fate, and who survives the fallout.
The Dark Legacy Series:
Dark fantasy, eight volumes deep. Think Game of Thrones meets The Blade Itself, but more psychologically relentless, and a hell of a lot more magic. Unstoppable gods, bloodlusting berserkers, assassins, and morally ravaged people trying to outrun the past … or maybe the future. Books 1–3 published. Books 4–7 in advanced stages. Final entry (Vol. 8): TBD.
The Warmaster Series:
Military sci-fi. Starships, gravity-warping, and political sabotage wrapped in tactical stillness—for a fractured humanity lost among the stars. Thrawn’s brain, Mass Effect’s war, Battlestar’s soul, and a flicker of Stargate’s forgotten gods. A warchild raised in the void. Currently completed Draft 4 of Book 2: Decimation Protocol.
The Maro Prakk Novella Series:
A brutal Western-fantasy hybrid. One part Clint Eastwood’s Unforgiven, one part The Witcher—these are tight, violent character studies where true grit gets tested and redemption’s a myth. Series is ongoing, and the second installment released August 1st, 2025.
The Primordial Series:
Sequel-adjacent to the DLS world. Ritual horror and revenge from the eyes of a slave-turned-assassin. Sex, survival, and systemic dismantling—served cold. In early development.
Why I’m Here:
I’m here to find a place for my stories to grow without being buried by algorithms, ads, or trends. Because the readers who resonate with this kind of work—the layered, morally complex kind—don’t need flash. They need signal. This platform lets me speak directly. No noise. No middlemen. I’d rather build something real than chase a feed. Where I may not fit an algorithm, I might fit you.
